MC Service Reminders
Thank you so much for registering to attend the service at the MC this Sunday!
As you know, we’re are still cautiously practicing all recommenced physical distancing protocols, so I wanted to send you a quick note, so you can be prepared to attend the live stream this week and know what to expect.
First, please plan to arrive about 10 minutes early for your service time. The service will need to start on time and due to the small environment of the MC, arriving late can be a distraction for everyone.
Second, please plan to wear a face covering before and after the stream. I know this is one of the strangest things we’re having to do right now, but it’s critical in our attempts to keep us all healthy. Please arrive in a face covering and keep it on until the message begins. When the message is over, we’ll put our face coverings back on until you are back in your vehicle. I know that no one likes wearing the masks, but thanks for helping with this before and after the service.
Third, please wash your hands immediately upon entry into the MC. At this point, I’m sure we all know the drill, but use warm water and soap and scrub for at least 20 seconds prior to drying your hands. Let’s all do our best not to touch any surfaces we don’t have to, like door knobs, counter tops, etc.
Fourth, once you enter the MC, please take your seat after you’ve washed your hands. We have carefully spaced our seating, insuring that we have a minimum of 6 feet of separation in every direction. We also sanitize each seat before and after each stream, so you can feel confident they are clean.
Fifth, please refrain from touching anyone else during your time at the Ministry Center. This includes hugging, handshakes, fist bumps, etc. Trust me, it’s painful for me to not be able to hug and shake hands with people too, but again, we’re trying to be very cautious in these first steps back toward physical gatherings.
Sixth, if you plan on bringing children with you to the 9am Family Service, they are absolutely welcome! Do keep in mind they will stay with you throughout the service. We will have a tent, speakers, and seating setup outside to avoid any distractions so please step outside if that will work best for you.
Lastly, it is most important that you do not attend the service if you have ANY symptoms of sickness. So if you have any sign of fever, cough, runny nose, aches, shortness of breath, or even symptoms that you don’t believe are connected to COVID, please simply refrain from coming.
We are so excited to see you all on Sunday, even if it’s from 6ft away and behind a mask:) Thank you for your willingness.
