Pastor Ryan Huguley
Lead Pastor
Ryan and Tami met in 2001 while working at Starbucks together. They married in 2005 and now have three children: Ava, Ryder, and Lincoln, as well as a dog named Wicket (obviously named after the most famous Ewok from Return of the Jedi).
Pastor Ryan has been blessed to serve in a number of diverse churches and roles, but his richest ministry experience has come from church planting. After joining a core group in 2001, his heart came alive to see new churches planted. In 2005, Ryan and Tami planted Redemption Bible Church with a few friends in the suburbs of Chicago.
After a brief season serving as a senior pastor in North Carolina, the Huguleys began to sense a call to plant again. In the fall of 2017, they arrived in Salt Lake and immediately got to work starting Ridgeline Church in the Salt Lake valley.
In addition to leading Ridgeline, Pastor Ryan has hosted the “In The Room” podcast since 2015, co-founded myXP in 2017 with Pastor Tyler Drewitz, and in 2017 published his first book, 8 Hours or Less: Writing Faithful Sermons Faster with Moody Publishing. Pastor Ryan is passionate about helping people pursue real relationship with Jesus and planting churches that do the same. In 2017 Pastor Ryan published his first book, “8 Hours, or Less: Writing faithful sermons faster” with Moody Publishing and co-founded myXP, a ministry that solves problems for pastors. He and his wife Tami have three great kids and love to hike, eat and laugh as much as possible.
