What to Expect

Visiting a new church can be a nerve-wracking experience for a variety of reasons. One of them is just not knowing what to expect when you visit. This page is our best attempt to help you know exactly what you’re walking into.

When: Sunday mornings at 10a.

Where:  Salt Lake Community College - Miller Campus in Sandy. 9750 S. 300 W. Sandy, UT 84070

What: The worship service is Ridgeline's front door and highest priority. We labor to produce gospel-proclaiming, Jesus-praising worship services where life-change is expected. Every service is comprised of three elements: Praise, Proclamation and Response. We strive to create compelling content with consistent excellence for God’s glory.

How long are the services?

Our services last 65 minutes and include live music with a band, engaging Bible teaching that promises to be practical in your day-to-day life and weekly text message Q&A so you can ask anything that’s on your mind.

Will I be singled out if I’m new?

Absolutely not! You’re our guest and that would be a horrible thing to do to you. Plus, every Sunday we have lots of people just like you who are checking out Ridgeline for the first time. Our goal is for you to have the best experience possible, which means we won’t single you out in any way.

Is there a dress code?

Nope. Come as you are and wear whatever you feel comfortable in. You can "dress up" if you want to or wear casual clothes. Most people who call Ridgeline “home” dress causal, but you feel free to dress however you feel most comfortable. God is more interested in your heart than how you’re dressed.

Am I welcome if I’m not a Christian?

100%! In fact, we’ve designed Ridgeline with you in mind. We want our church to be a place where you can belong before you believe. You can have questions, doubts, hurts and pains and you’re still always welcome.

Where should I park?

The Miller Campus of SLCC has what seems like endless parking. We meet in the auditorium of the Miller Free Enterprise Center located off of the 300 W frontage road. Just follow our directional signs and you can’t go wrong.

What about my kids?

We’ve got them covered. Ridgeline Kid’s (6 weeks - 5th grade) have their own service where they’re taught the Bible in age-appropriate environments, play games, do art projects and make great friends. Our goal is to create a fun, secure and clean environment where they will be well cared for and loved.
