Join us after church on Sunday, August 18 for an all church picnic at Grandpa's Pond park shelter at the Sandy Community Fishery just around the corner from SLCC. We will be enjoying chicken tacos and spending some time together.

In addition to the park shelter and kids play area there is a fishing dock that is stocked with Bluegill, Trout and Small-mouth Bass. Fishers 12 years old and older must have a fishing license to fish. There is a limit of 2 fish.

Make sure you bring your camping chairs or a picnic blanket as the shelter seating is limited.

Everyone is welcome to join us but please register for anyone who will be eating.

Monday night, July 22 at 5:30pm you’re invited to join us at the Sandy Amphitheater for Food Truck League Night. There will be a variety of trucks available, a fun park & splash area for kids to play and another great opportunity for us to continue to build genuine friendships in our church family.

We will be sitting near the splash pad. Make sure you bring a camping chair or blanket as the provided seating is incredibly limited.

As an FYI, below is a listing of all the food truck available for this evening.

Located at the Utah State Fair Park, Pumpkin Nights is a half-mile walking path through eight different pumpkin-themed lands filled with over 3,000 hand-carved real and artificial pumpkins.  There will also be a fire show and demonstrations by professional pumpkin artists. For children they have a scavenger hunt, a treasure dig, a screening of Coco, and face painting. Food and beverages, such as hot chocolate and apple cider, are provided by local food trucks.
